Janet Pinneau MFT, CBT

Over the years, my clients have come to me from all walks of life. They originally contact me because of a sudden traumatic event or because it was time for something to change. We work together to tackle the tough topics and come up with a comfortable approach. Whether you have been traumatized by an event such as a sexually assault, or you are confronted by a decline in your performance at school or in competition, negative feelings about yourself often trap your healing and growth. Together, we eliminate these driving negative beliefs and the accompanying fears and paralyzing blocks.

I approach my work from a Relational Psychotherapy and BioEnergetics model. I combine these two approaches to psychotherapy in a way that emphasizes the importance of the relationship while valuing the connection of your body/mind experience.
